Massachusetts General Hospital

The MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) serves as the pediatric component of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), a teaching hospital, founding member of the Partners HealthCare System, and affiliate of Harvard Medical School.  MGHfC treats more than 170,000 patients annually,with, more than 12,000 pediatric emergency visits, 3,000 admissions and 3,500 births.  Within the MGHfC is the Division of General Academic Pediatrics, an internationally-known multidisciplinary research center dedicated to improving the well-being of children and adolescents through the identification and promotion of effective health and health care programs and policies. The Center’s overarching focus is on vulnerable and underserved populations, including children living in poverty, minority children, and children with special health care needs.
